The little Bon Voyage Coffe Shop. Ha, what memories, it had been there since ten or more years. Who would have thought it would last so long? Who would have thought little Julie could make it? When she started it, she was just this young female trying to do something interesting out of her life. She was so proud of herself back then, she was an entrepreneur, and a woman! Even better.
Nevertheless, business was running slow lately and it's not because of the competition, or anything like that, it was just that Julie had gotten tired lately, she saw no more in it. She was bored, maybe, or maybe, just wanted to do something else. Who knows? Only Julie could say. However, something was about to happen, a visit to the coffee shop, that would change the way she saw her business, and the way she saw her life.
Julie had had many things in her life already. She had traveled, she had loved, she had partied, she had done pretty much everything a woman her age would have done. She did all that when she was way younger, being brought up in a wealthy family, she could do many of the things other people have to wait until they are older to do, at a relative young age. If she had the money and could do whatever she wanted, why did she start a small coffee shop? You may be asking yourself. Well, it was not for the money, or for the business of it, it was more just for the fun of it. She could invite artists to do their presentation, she could present things herself once in a while, she could decorate the place as she wanted it, she could hire and work with whoever she wanted to work with, and mainly, maybe, because it was just so romantic to her. Having a small coffee shop called the Bon Voyage, isn't that what everybody would want to have? Well, maybe not everybody, but many would, Julie did, indeed.
Where were the customers going? She knew, she always had known that her smile and her personal charm could capture and bring to a sense of comfort to even the toughest of customers. If she was there, smiled, or not even always smile, just by being there, customers would stay and be faithful to the Bon Voyage Coffee Shop. However, she hadn't been around much lately. She was, let's say, drifting a bit. Why? Well, after ten years of being the owner of the Bon Voyage Coffee Shop, even the biggest fool would start wondering, well, where's my Voyage? Although she had been pretty much everywhere, she still was waiting for her voyage, her trip to a place she would fall in love with, or not.
There was something about him crossing that door, if you were there you could see it, you could notice that something was about to happen. How? Well, who knows? there was just something about it. Although you had to be paying attention in order to notice it, and this time, there was no one paying attention to this event, him, entering the coffee shop. June was a silly looking kind of man, he had this something, that made him look silly. Frequently he was undermined by people and not taken into consideration. Not because he was silly, which he wasn't whatsoever, just because the way he looked. Nevertheless, he was aware about his looks and having finding out what other people thought of him, instead of trying to make himself look smarter, he made him look sillier. In a way, he took a situation and turned it into something advantageous for him. Because he knew, looking silly was a great thing, he could then, distract the attention and do more of his stuff without being annoyed by people.
He was a retired photographer, hard to believe there was one, one retired photographer in this times, but he was one of them. Some years ago another idea, another passion started to capture all of his attention and all of his mind and thoughts. He was a amazed by it at the beginning and then started to develop it more and more, every day, a bit more.
Here he was ordering at the Bon Voyage Coffee Shop. Oh, he had waited long for this, a couple of years maybe. He knew this coffee shop, he knew its story, he knew Julie, the owner, he knew almost everything about this business, although he had never been there and had never met Julie. How or why did he know so much about it? Well, that's a bit of a long story. But basically he knew so much about it because this coffee shop and Julie were so important for the flow of this story and for the things that were about to happen. This place was where it all started, with these characters, with these seats, decoration and concepts. The Bon Voyage Coffee Shop was that, a Good Journey, the place where the journey started. The journey where? Well, that'a about to be known.
So, it had started, they had met and he was about to tell her his story. His story wasn't a regular story and more than a story, it was like an invitation. Julie didn't know, she agreed to listen to a story, because maybe she was bored or maybe because there were no customers in the coffee shop at this time. However she didn't know and didn't even suspect what she was about to listen to. If she had know maybe she wouldn't have listened to his story, or maybe she would have anyway, after all, she was Julie, she had a strong spirit. But this story would change the way she saw some things about life and the way she saw it, and she would find out that there were more things to it, a lot more things than what she thought there were. How could a day change someone so much? How could a piece of information change something so much? June would start now telling his story.
